WME Signs Tony DiSanto & Liz Gateley

EXCLUSIVE: Former top MTV executives-turned-producers Tony DiSanto and Liz Gateley have signed with WME. DiSanto and Gateley had been without agency representation since they left the cable channel at the end of 2010 to launch DiGa, an independent production company set up as a partnership with Ben Silvermans IAC-backed Electus. At WME, DiGa will be represented by Sean Perry and Lance Klein on the unscripted side and by Ari Greenburg for scripted. DiSanto and Gateley have kept a low profile since starting DiGa in January but have quietly sold a slew of reality and scripted projects and signed number of talent development deals over the past 9 months. They continue to serve as executive producers on the MTV series Teen Wolf, which the duo developed and are also attached to the Weinstein Co.’s American Werewolf In London feature remake. At MTV, where DiSanto served as president of programming and Gateley as head of series development, the two have multiple series commitments. DiGa plans to stay independent but is open to partnering with studios on projects and is exploring new business models. In addition to TV and film, DiGa, which is based in NY City with a production/edit center in Los Angeles, is also active in the digital space.
