Hallmark pic sluggish for ABC

The down-trending ''Hallmark Hall of Fame'' franchise opened slowly for ABC on Sunday, as ''Mitch Albom's Have a Little Faith'' was a demo laggard on a night once again dominated by NBC's ''Sunday Night Football.''According to preliminary national estimates from Nielsen, ''Have a Little Faith'' averaged a 1.1 rating/2 share in adults 18-49 and 6.5 million viewers overall from 9 to 11 p.m., down a whopping 48% from the Hallmark Hall of Fame original presentation of ''November Christmas'' a year ago on CBS. The Eye net had aired the franchise exclusively from 1995 until earlier this year before relinquishing it due to declining ratings. Also for ABC, ''America's Funniest Home Videos'' (1.8/4 in 18-49, 7.6 million viewers overall) was up a bit vs. its most recent airing, and ''Once Upon a Time'' (3.4/8 in 18-49, 10.7 million viewers overall) was down but did draw its largest audience to date among the under-18 crowd (1.5 million).Elsewhere, NBC's ''Sunday Night Football'' game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Kansas City Chiefs averaged a 6.7/15 in adults 18-49 and 17.2 million viewers overall on the network's stations from 8:30 to 11 p.m., and figures to be in line with the nationals for last week's game between the Eagles and Giants, which finished with a 7.6/18 in the demo.At Fox, ''The Cleveland Show'' (1.9/5 in 18-49, 4.1 million viewers overall) and ''The Simpsons'' (2.6/6 in 18-49, 5.6 million viewers overall) were in line with last week, while ''Allen Gregory'' (1.5/3 in 18-49, 3.1 million viewers overall) was down about 20% and made life tough for 9 p.m. anchor ''Family Guy'' (2.8/6 in 18-49, 5.5 million viewers overall), which was off 13%. And closing things out was ''American Dad'' (2.2/5 in 18-49, 4.5 million viewers overall), down 8%. Ratings for CBS are subject to significant revision due to a nearly hourlong NFL overrun. The 8 o'clock hour, which primarily featured ''60 Minutes'' in most of the country, averaged a 3.6/8 in 18-49 and 15.4 million viewers overall. It was followed by ''The Amazing Race'' (roughly 2.4/5 in 18-49, 9.0 million viewers overall on the CBS stations from 9 to 10) and a special repeat of Thursday drama ''Person of Interest'' (1.5/4 in 18-49, 6.8 million viewers overall from 10 to 11).Preliminary 18-49 averages for the night: NBC, 5.4/13; CBS, 3.6/8; Fox, 2.4/6; ABC, 1.8/4; Univision, 0.8/2.In total viewers: NBC, 14.2 million; CBS, 13.5 million; ABC, 7.5 million; Fox, 5.3 million; Univision, 2.2 million.
